Batia Ofer

Batia Ofer sees social responsibility, promoting peace in the Middle East and supporting art, culture and education as the engines of growth in the society in which we live and is involved with various international projects to promote these missions.

She is deeply involved with the Make-A-Wish Foundation and serves as Honorary President for Israel and Ambassador of Goodwill for the UK.

Batia is an avid art collector who sits on Sotheby’s council, consults for the Frieze art fair and is involved in the establishment of the first Pop-up Museum in Israel.

She was a founding member of Better Place, a clean energy company dedicated to developing the next generation of transportation infrastructure for electric vehicles.

In 2013 she and her husband, Idan established the Harvard Kennedy School’s Sammy Ofer Graduate Fellowship Fund for Emerging Leaders from Israel and Palestine to help promising students from the region attend the school.  

She holds a business degree from York University in Canada.
