Ramez F. Sousou

Ramez Sousou is Founder and co-CEO of TowerBrook Capital Partners, an international investment firm founded in 2005. TowerBrook is focused on private investments in Europe and North America across a range of industries including healthcare, financial services, business services, consumer products, aerospace and automotive products. TowerBrook is the first mainstream private equity firm in the world to attain B Corp Certification. B Corps are businesses that meet the highest standards of verified social, environmental and governance performance.

He was previously co-head of Soros Private Equity and a member of the Management Committee of Soros Fund Management. Prior to that, he was a senior member of the Principal Investments group of Goldman Sachs.

He is a board member of the U.S./Middle East Project, the American School in London and is a member of the Global Advisory Council of Harvard University.  He is a former board member of Habitat for Humanity International, the Lambeth Trust, the National Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Children (NSPCC), and Alpha International, and was the founding chairman of the Private Equity Foundation.

He is a graduate of Harvard College, where he was a Harvard College Scholar, and Harvard Business School, where he was a Baker Scholar. He is married to Tiziana Sousou, and they have three children.
